That is a connection problem at the right wheel most likely at wheel bearing to chassis wiring harness

clean the mounting surface of the abs sensors.rust builds up under the sensor and it sits too far away from the tone ring causing false abs modulation.

WHEN I ACCELERATE FROM A STOP OR MAKE A TURN, I CAN FEEL AND HEAR A POPPING NOISE IN MY STEERING WHEEL, COLUMN....WHAT IS CAUSING THIS?


wront wheel drive?
sounds like a axle to me
try this... at low speeds (under 10mph)
drive in a cricle left... and right
is it clicking? both directions or only one?
if only one it needs an axle on that side

Break problems


Your ABS (antilock brake system) has detected a problem in the system that is causing the ABS pump motor to activate. I suspect you have a bad front wheel speed sensor providing false information to the onboard computer. The system will need diagnostic work performed to locate the actual cause of failure.I hope this helps. Good luck

You probably have a bad wheel speed sensor, Most likely the sensor is telling your antilock system to activate, causing your brake pedal to pulse under your foot, you may have to take it and get it diagnosed. or check the wiring harness's, make sure they are properly connected, behind the front brake caliper if your vehicle is equiped with 4 wheel antilock, and the rear antilock may be either behind your brake drum or caliper, depending on disc or drum brakes on the rear. Some Vehichles have a single speed sensor located usually near the center of your rear axle,instead of individual sensors on the rear. look for a wiring harness connecting to the rear axle. It will likely be the only wiring connected into your rear axle. Hope this helps

At times when I apply the brakes, right at the time when the vehicle should be coming to a complete stop, the brakes seem to let up and allow the vehicle to slide up a few feet more.


i would suspect your antilock brakes are activating. you probably have one of your wheel speed sensors that drop to 0 mph fooling the computer that one of the wheels have locked up and therefore goes into antilock mode. no code would set as this is a normal function of antilock brakes, you would need to get a scanner on the car and monitor wheel speed input. as you come to a stop monitor the wheel speeds closely and look to see which one is droppind to 0 prematurly.

When turning left the antilock brake light and bell comes on


you may have a loose wheel bearing & warped brake disc!
most people not even most mechanics dont realise that a loose wheel bearing can prevent the brakes from being blead up due to the movemnt !!

They are doing their job. They are designed to prevent skidding, either in summer or in snow.

Humming noise coming from left front tire, just started two days!


If the tires are wearing normal then its not the ball joint. If it worse while turning one way and quieter turning the other way it a wheel bearing. A ball joint does'nt make a constant noise.

Antilock and traction contol on and off for no reason 0-10mph .2005 buick rendevouz.has new brake bearings/sensors.


take it back to whomever did the repair and have them fix for free. I suspect the new sensors are wrong, installed wrong, or something else. These sensors tell the brake and traction control computers what to do.
