Could be a problem with the contacts in the Master ( driver's side ) power window switch or with the window lock.

If you snap the window lock switch back and forth a few times, it might start working again ( this is the switch to supply power to the other windows ). If so, it is a temporary fix, and the switch needs to be replaced. Check with the online Ford Dealers for a realistic price vs your local dealer ( Tasca Ford & Southwest Ford are 2 that come to mind ). You can also jumper the window lock switch leads ( in the connector, they line up with the pins ) to supply power all the time to the other windows. If you do this, the windows will work at all times ( something to consider if you have kids ).

If the window lock switch is not the cause, it could be the contacts in the passenger side switch in the mater switch ( if you are missing ground, not power ) The ground and power are in the driver's side switch, then to the passenger side switch, then to the motor. again this would be a new master switch time. Think it is ~ 65.00 for a new one, or you can try to dissemble the switch and clean the contacts.

We have the same exact problem! we just jiggle the driver's side switch for the passenger window until the window finally goes up. Not the best solution, but it does work eventually, and it hasn't taken more than a minute... yet.

Hello, my driveside window on a 1999 toyola solara quit woriking and i can't open the door from the inside, what is wrong with it?

Window regulator is probably broke . An not being able to open the door from inside , I would say the handle broke inside the door . You have to take door panel off to get inside the door . Videos on youtube showing how to do it an test it.

Left rear passengerside window not working

Check your fuses first. Maxima windows are secured by 2 plastic clips that are glued to the window and secured to the track with bolts that go through a hole in the clips. Remove the door panel and confirm that the clips are secure and the bolts are in place. If they are then you probably have an electrical problem.

I replaced passengerside regulator, wheni plugged it, it immediately went up. but no i wot do anthing

either your driver window switch or the passenger window switch is making a constant connection causing window to rise i would strongly recommend leaving the new regulator disconnected until you find the fault for prevention of motor damage.

My 2003 Toyota Sequoia rear window will no longer roll down? Is there a fuse for this window or will I have to replace the motor?

I don't think that there would be a fuse for each window, it could be a wiring problem check the wires on the window switch that isn't working to make sure the problem isn't there also check the wires on the window motor, if you have a test light you may be able to trace where the power is getting to before you replace the window motor,if the power is getting to the window motor you would have to assume the window motor is faulty.....hope this helps......cheers.

Both passengerside windows will not go up and down

Might be a bad motor, bad switch, or mechanical problem.
You have to open the door panel, remove the plastic cover, unplug the Motor connector, and check with a Multimeter, setting at DC and 20 Volts. If you have power when activating the switch, then remove the motor and pover with a 12Volts Battery charger, or a charged battery. If don't work replace the motor, if works than you have a mechanical problem. Hope this will help.

Passengerside window not working, the other three are. Pulled door off no bad wires seen, checked fuses look good.

Since you checked the fuse, it must be either the switch or the motor. Each window has it's own motor. J.

Sounds like the vent control motor is bad. It controls how much hot water flows through the heater core. OR the heater core for that side is clogged
