Question about 1998 Dodge Dakota
Well a few things i want to know ..like what colour was the old spark plugs when you took them out (Black) and does the engine sound as if it has a miss in it when starting and idleingAnd how many miles has it done and has it been loosing water from the radiator in the last 2 to 4 weeks and how much oil do you add in the same time.
AS by the sound of what you say it sounds like the engine is getting bad as the blue smoke is due to oil being burnt as it gets into the bores or from the valve stems worn and seals also worn out alowing oil to pass by and go into the cylinders and getting burnt when it fires and runs,, plus it could also be the piston rings have worn or broken and not having the compression to start straight away and run like it should.
So let me know the answers to above ASAP RON
