We have the day time running lights working but no high beam license plate or running lights. There appears to be a short or an inline fuse please we need some advice,

There is a relay and a fuse you need to check in your hood compartment fuse box. Check under parking lights, head lamps L & R Low Beam and Head Lamps L & R high beam. You will definitely have one blown. Its a cheap fix so get her done. Good luck.

I am trying to replace the small lights that illuminate the rear license plate. Can you tell me the best way to get them in and out? Where can I find the fuse box? I have a 98 Mazda 626, thanks!

if it is situated in the bumper, you just take a flat (thin) screwdriver and lift the lens, then replace the bulps and press the lens back on

1996 ford explorer license plate fuse

I'm not to sure what one you did want license plate light or the tag light up high above your back door. I know I am reading license plate so I will say the fuse needs to be replaced. plate lamps need 2 light bulbs and the fuse box is under the steering wheel or under the hood there are 2.
in my book it said that it is a (194 trade number), I woulds change out bulbs and then fuse.
