Check for fuel pressure...unhook line right before gas filter, and turn your ignition on for just a second...someone will need to moniter if you get gas coming out of line...if not...its gonna probably be the fuel pump. You should also check it on the other side of the make sure gas is getting thru..if not....replace filter. (If nothing works...check your batter cables)

Is it possible to check fuel pressure without a fuel pressure gauge? if so how do i do it?

To find out if the pump is working, disconnect the fuel line to the fuel rail (or carburetor) and turn on the pump (move the ignition key to on). If fuel comes out, the pump is working.
If you don't have a fuel pressure gauge and want to know what the pressure is, bring your car to someone who does have a fuel pressure gauge (unless you have a calibrated fingertip and can tell the pressure by holding your finger over the end of the fuel line).

Engine turns over but won,t start several times, then starts normaly and runs normal

Use fuel pressure gauge to see if pressure bleeds off as soon as you shut engine down. Fuel pump check valve is supposed to keep pressure in system.

1999 Grand Prix GTP Supercharged 3.8L gas engine. Poor fuel economy.

did you check the lower intake manifold gaskets? they go bad on the 3800 series 2, since you have the supercharger you won't have an issue with the upper intake because it is not plastic but the gaskets may be bad as well. that engine runs best with irridium plugs.

My gauges don't work on 84 monte carlo what should i do

If none of the gauges work, you need to check the gauges fuse and the connector on the back of the cluster. Each gauge is grounded thru its own sending unit.

F350 super duty 2004 ford won't start, is firing but won't start at all. Changed fuel filter and pressed the reset button on the fuel tank and still won't start.

just to be sure.....attach a fuel pressure gauge to your fuel rail ....just to see if you have fuel pressure......if theres not enough pressure it won;t start at all.....even ten pounds shy.these gauges can be bought at your local auto store
