What is correct tire pressure on 2000 pontiac grand prix gt?

Look in one of the rear door jams of the car. There should be a plate that has tire pressure settings for different tire sizes. Verify this pressure against the tires rated max pressure, it is on the sidewall of the tire in very small print. If the recommended pressure does not exceed the max pressure, fill it to that pressure. If it exceeds the max pressure, only fill it to the max pressure. This should be checked and filled with the tires cold (ex. before driving any substantial distance)

What should the tire pressure be for a 2001 neon?

have you checked the drivers side door. There should be a tire inflation sticker on the door. 30psi seems to ring a bell.

I need to know the correct PSI for cold tires for this vehicle. My check tire pressure sign is showing up on my dash board. 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix. Thank you.

I run about 4 lbs below the max on the sidewall of any tire

That is not what is in any manual or on any B pillar label

So about 36 to 38 in the rear & 40 to 42 on front,
as long as your max is 44lbs

Your spare may be out of air & setting off the sensor

My owners manual was stolen from my car and there is no sticker on my car indicating proper tire inflation for my 2008 grand prix - can you assist

Have you checked your drivers door jamb to make sure that there is no sticker there? Don't know why some one would take that sticker off of the car. Pressure is probably some thing like 28 in the front and 30 in the rear, however this is not for sure.

1997 grand prix gtp. Tire pressure/abs light

Hello! This indicates a fault with the wheel speed sensor/ABS sensor. Any major auto parts retailer can pull the details of this code (which sensor) for free, which will help you identify if the wiring is loose or damaged or if the sensor will need to be replaced. If you need to replace the sensor - you will need to replace the entire wheel bearing assembly, as the sensor is internal.

Thanks for using FixYa!

Check tire pressure warning

check tire pressures with a gauge and set to the specs either in door jam or in glove box. your car must be equipt with tire preasure monitoring system so the sensors are inside the wheel normally part of the valvestem.
