Question about 2005 Volkswagen Golf
Crack open your gas cap before you start it to relieve pressure from the tank. If that doesn't work you'll need to scan the system for DTC's (fault code). I wouldn't recommend Autozone or Pep Boys since they use generic readers which has a high probability giving conflicting codes and it's definition. So it has to be a dedicated water cooled VW outfit that uses VAG and/or Ross Tech diagnostic tools.
