Question about 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee
My jeep cherokee
gives me a hard start all the time i change the fuel filter and to did not help what can i do to fix the problem
I suggest you buy a manual like chilton or haynes...with a digital multi-meter, go through the sensors and determine if any are out of range. pay lots of attention to the throttle position sensor, coolant and manifold air temp sensors. Could also be due to a weak coil etc.
Fuel system can also play a part in hard starting but generally it would also give you problems at speed as well.
Without the benefit of actually testing, no one can do more than make suggestions or guesses. Changing parts without actually verifying a problem can get really expensive really fast, so my suggestion is not to do that In having a manual handy, it will help you countless other times after you have solved this problem.
