Using a test light on the rear blower motor wires ,turn it on with the switch, and probe the wires for power,if you have it there then replace the motor

2002 pontiac montana. where are the relays for the hvac blowers. the front and rear blowers dont work I have already replaced the resisitor in the front blower. there are some relays behind the glove box...

I think these two problems have a common solution. When they do not work check for power at the HVAC Blower Fuse in the instrument panel fuse block. Check this with a volt meter. You should see battery voltage at the fuse. If you see no voltage or very little than I would bet you have a bad ignition switch. The switch is what supplies power to the fuse.

Should be in the relay - fuse box near the battery.

2000 pontiac a/c blowing hot air on drivers side how do I check the flapper to see if it is stuck?? or if the vacume hose is broken??

The flap is usually controled by vaccuum. Look under hood for a vac. hose or tube that is cracked or broken or disconnected. Being a 2000 it has had enough time to dry rot from all the heat under the hood.
To be save, check this out with a cold engine turned off.
I hope this helps.

Pontiac montana heater works but doesnt blow heat out on defrost

If the heater core is good and the blower works, the valve doors may not be opening and closing properly to direct air towards the proper vents. This may be because something has fallen in and is obstructing their movement. The actuating motors may not work properly, or the linkages that connect them to the mode doors may be worn or improperly adjusted. You can get a look at the mechanisms by removing the driver side knee bolster (two screws) and a lower trim panel on the side of the center console.

Be careful fiddling with the linkages. Everything is plastic and easy to break, and replacing the heater box requires removing most of the dash.
