Question about 2000 Toyota Celica
My toyota celica car alarm goes off whilst locked and empty. it is 2002 model and original alarm fitted as standard. How can I solve this or at least silence the alarm whilst still being able to keep the car locked?
any help gratefully received.
Problem solved by ensuring there are no metallic objects around the cup holders. My wife had left a key and some coins there and these were interfering with the sensores situated beneath the cup holders. Bizarre but true.

You should ask toyota about the wiring and maybe you can cut a wire that runs to the sound module... Horn maybe...
