I had tried to use my cruise control on my 2002 pt cruiser and it wouldnt work what could it be

Being that it is a 2002 I believe it will have electronic cruise and not vacuum power. so I would check your cruise control fuse and button. If all of those are OK, then its possible that the cruise control servo has gone out. That it the box that controls the throttle while engaged. You can find it by tracing the two cables coming from your throttle body. One leads through the firewall to your gas pedal, and the other will lead to you cruise control servo.

Where is BCM located on 2002 PT Cruiser locks working even when car is not on have been told to check BCM don't know where to find it


I don't find a body control module for your car, but according to the wiring diagram the door locks are controlled by a keyless entry module which is located on top of the dash behind the ac vents.
There are three fuses that power the module.
Check with your dealer for more details.

B212F - Ignition RUN/ACC control circuit low
The controller of the cruise control is defective and must be replaced.

The cruise control does not work on my 2001 PT Cruiser - is it just a fuse or something more? The light will not come on and one day it just stopped working. How do I fix it?


it might be a fuse but stuff like that the switch go first so try messing with the switch some cruise control don't come on intel after 30 mph
