Question about 1991 Dodge Spirit
Lift hood, reach in behind, and twist locking ring, 1/4-1/2 turn to release it, and pull in back from housing and base of bulb. Now wiggle bulb, and pull outward at same time, it will eventually pop out. Now release tab, on connector and pull connector off. Without touching glass part of new bulb (just hold the base) pop it in to the connector same way other one came out. There is usually a little notch in housing so that the bulb only lines up one way to go back into housing. I normally rub a little "vaseline" on the "O" ring of the bulb to help it go back in easier, as well as makes it a little easier to change next time, and makes for a better seal. Pop it back in proper position in housing, which may need a wiggle or 2 again, to seat all the way, then put lock ring back on, and twist it until it locks on. Sometimes it's easier if you remove electrical connector first, just to get it out of your way, and snap it on new bulb after bulb is in and secured with lock ring, whichever is easier for your situation.
