Look for scews around the door handle. Many are covered. After scews and maybe a plate behind the mirror attaching area you can start prying the door panel off. not easy.

How do I replace a driver side mirror assembly ?

Remove the door trim, Remove the plastic cover on the inside of the door where the mirror is. You should see screws retaining the mirror that undo from inside the car, and a small loom with a plug at about knee height behind the door trim. The rest is just replacing old with new and reassembly. Check under the electric window switch for hidden screws. Good Luck

if just the mirror pop it in. use a little grease on the slots so it slips in. if replacing whole mirror assembly take off the small triangular plastic inside the door. pull from top edge it should pop out. take off 3 nuts. if the plug for the mirror is inside the door panel then you have to remove the whole door panel.

Need to replace driver side mirror for Camry 2002, Power mirror

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

Remove the LF door trim that is on the inside of the car. If there is a white plug, simply remove the 3 bolts and replace the mirror. If the white plug is not visible, you need to remove the door panel.
