Cannot get the door to open drivers door outside door handle

I have the same problem and here's how i open it....when i grab the door handle with my right hand i extend my right thumb and press the far left tip of the door handle as i open the door and it opens.I bought my car with that problem but will try to correct it this week.I suggest you do the same in case of an emergency. The 9000's are the best cars that Saab has made.Fix the little problems then sit back and enjoy the ride.

How do i get the rear door panels off a 2007 jeep liberty?

Interior pannels are always a bit tricky as they are fastened with plastic grommets and clips. First you have to remove the screws (2) One is visible in the door handle which you use to close the door. The other is behind a cap behind the door opening handle. Then you can either lift the plastic pannel straight up in a swift jerking motion or try to 'pop' it off with a prying item. Either way can break the plastic retainers so be careful. After it's loose, you'll find that you'll have to unclip the latch-rod from the handle. Do this by swinging the black clip off of the rod. Then unclip any wire connectors and you're all set.

Dismount door panel VW Golf

To remove the external door handle is not nessecery to dismount the door panel. Just follow my instruction: Open the door. Above the latch you will find small round plastic cover 1 inch of diameter.Remove it.There is screw T35 or T40 head/judish star/.Unscrew.Than slide the handle to the right about 1cm.Carefully pul out left side. That is it.

The right side window came off it's track and I need to know how to get the panel off and fix it.

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Pull back the weather seal and you can access all the parts

-The driver side door will not open either from the inside or out

On the inner plastic handle(behind the door handle) (on the inside) there is a little plastic oval close to the top, and if you pop that off with a knife or screwdriver there is a screw underneath. The other screw is underneath the armrest, below the door handle. The last screw is under the metal handle itself. these are all inside. After a little jerking, the panel will come off. Keep in mind that there are plastic clips all over the perimeter of the panel, and most will break. Not to worry, they are cheap at any auto parts store. Hope this helps!

Outside door handle not working

i have a 94 2dr cutlass and the same thing happend to me, now i can tell u how to fix the problam but the door has to be open to fix, so if your in the same boat i was with both door handles broke then there was only two ways i could think of to get the doors open with both handles broke, ether go threw the trunk and break the seat of break a widow witch is what i did, and once ur window is broke dont replace glass untill handles are fixed. what u do is once the door is open look on the inside behind handle and there is a black cover that has a few screws on it, remove this and u will have a perfect view of the lever assembly, i went to my local junk yard and got me two handles that were that were in good shape, and one u see how it works its a pretty easy fix

Drivers side door, not opening

VERY common issue.. the handle being replaced is ok.. but the actual metal rod that connects it to the latch needs bent a little to make it more responsive, what happens is over time this rod (which is bent slightly) will straighten, and the operator pulls harder on the handle which eventually brakes.. then replacing the handle will solve it for a while, until the trend repeats itself... VERY common, I have fixed hundreds in the shop so far...

Rear cargo door of the extended cab

remove door handle with t-30 and you will see two rods, one going on the left and one going down on the right. reach in and pull the bottom one up with a couple of jerks. if it dosent move, try the top one a couple of times and push and pull the door in and out to try to free it up.
