You will need to replace the BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR
When you switch it over to hot, the door is getting stuck and this is why the passenger side stops blowing. Click on the link below to see what it looks like (not the exact one but looks like the one you need)

Unfortunately its going to be the control head (the unit in the centre console there). the only fix is replacement. you can locate several from salvage yards in california. one in particular i like is silverstar paorsche/merecedes recycling. i do however recomend that someone who is mechanically savy help you with this as not to do any damage to your interior. these are simple plug in units and require picks or radio removal tools to pull out.

if it makes you feel any better, i do work on mercedes benz(and i cant type when im drinking either, no worries). these units control everything through circuits. they will control blend doors but to turn the fan off is going to be in the controls themselves.

by the way, if someone else was in there, file a complaint with the better business bureau who will play like mediators and hopefully get them to step up if they are at fault.

try this. ive ordered several parts from them and they are usually real good and if the part didnt work they took it back and sent me another at no additional charge. they also cover alot of late models too.

This makes no sense unless there are separate fans for each side of the vehicle. I recommend you take it to a dealer to isolate the problem since the only way I can see this happening is if a valve controlling air flow in the core box is not opening properly..

1995 Lesabre blows hot on drivers side, cold on passenger side

THIS IS A GUESS. Both sides probabley have "mix" dampers that regulate temp by mixing hot and cold air to make you comfortable. Passenger side must not work properly, stepper motor? Dirty actuator? Temp sensor on passenger not working? Don't honestly know but I'm not sure a do it yourselfer could figure it out. Sounds complicated.

2004 chevy tahoe, dual climate control, blowing different temps

Its more then likely the temp door broken or temp door motor broken/stuck. There is 2-3 of these motors under the dash on the side of the evap/heater core box. Some require extensive labor to replace, good luck

Passenger side blows hot air when front control set to Air

you cant adjust it ,this requires the dealers computer to re set it,or a phyiscal control has packed up like a vacumn pipe has split where it pushes onto the valve that controls the flap in the heater unit.
