it is the immobilizer indicator ( red light far right hand corner of dash) it usally means that key is not communicating with computer , try another key ? or if your battery went dead this could cause communacation failure? check your ground to battery and then leave battery disconnected for a few hours , and if there is someone who can scan for codes and wright down any that are there and then clear codes, it can also just be a computer failure that has triggered that light.
Code 1684 means the computer has lost power since the last check, usually from disconnecting the battery.
Code 344 means the cam sensor on bank one is not always sending a signal to the computer. It could be a wiring problem or something with the actual camshaft.
well it means that you have low voltage to your oil pressure sending unit, try to add oil, only after checking to see if there is the correct amount, has the oil light come on?
that is the check eng light and that means there is a code in the pcm and u have to have it scaned to c what the code is and what is broke and needs to be replaced or fixed.goodluck
More information would be needed if the check engine light displayed more codes after the EGR was replaced . Just because the code shows up does not always mean that is the part that failed. Looks like there is more to the issue here . you might even have a fuel filter or pump problem if your losing power at speed. . I would take it to your local auto parts store and have them read what codes are stored in the van.
What signal is this? is this for a check engine light code?Okay i know what you mean, it a p0073 code, this is the ambeint temp sensor, this is the sensor that tells you the outside temp on your display, the sensor may be bad ,misssing or bad wire going to sensor, was this van in a crash, lots of times the sensor gets damaged from an accident,
Google them or call the dealer or a place like autozone for the code info. I checked those codes & maybe you typed them wrong, they aren't in chrysler format & are meaningless at this point. Check the fuel pressure.
Im assuming it is an engine that uses a timing belt. It sounds like the belt has jumped 1 tooth. if it only jumped 1 tooth than the computer will compesate the timing so it is possible the sensors will say they are ok. If it is a motor that uses a chain than it problaly needs a new gear/chain set.
