Question about 2000 Pontiac Firebird
I have a 2000 pontiac firebird,i went to start it,..absolutely nothing,it would not even crank.the battery is just a year old,so i do not think that's it,everyone is telling me its the starter, what do you think?
Try turning the key to the on position and put your foot on the brake pedal and shift in to neutral and try to start it there, wiggle the shifter a little towards reverse and towards drive to see if it fire,
if it doesnt check you headights to see if they are bright,or check voltage at battery with a multi meter, you need at least 12volts.
next try moving the cables on the battery to make sure they are tight
