first check to see that you coolant level is full, check it after the engine has cooled down,so there is no pressure in the system. otherwise you possibly have a head gasket in the early stage of failure

2002 Suzuki xl7 Mysterious Overheating Issue

Most Suzukis A/C systems will cut out when the engine tempurature is too high (to reduce the load on the engine). Also, in this condition, when the A/C compressor cuts out, the A/C thermo fan (electric - in front of the condensor) may come on ( to try and cool the engine). Combined with the fact that your temp gage says the engine is hot, I would be checking your cooling system very closely. It could be as simple as leaves blocking the air flow through the radiator (between the condensor and radiator), or as serious as the internal cores of the radiator being blocked (different sorts of coolant being used can sometimes produce solid matter that can do this).

When i hooked up the air/heat assembaley the heat won't work how do i check to make sure the cables are both hooked up properly. im not for sure where they hook up to. it will blow cold air but not hot air

your ok. there should be a small hose it almost looks like a wire thats how thin it is. The ventalation system uses vacumm from the engine intake to open and close the valves. you may have noticed this when you turn the Air conditioning on. you should hear a hissing noice like an air leak. if this is not happening that mean that the hose is not connected. the engine has to be on

Cooling/heating ( Nissan 350Z 2004) Irregular blowing of only hot Air0

This is a redundancy thing in the climate control system. You'll want to take the console apart and check the connectors behind the climate control panel. I was installing a stereo in mine, and when I started the car (with the climate control disconnected), it did exactly what you're describing.
