Sounds like you have a lifter that bleeds down while the engine is off, then it pumps back up after oil pressure fills it.

Hi, My 2006 ford focus wouldn't start this morning. After starting it first time with jump leads I drove it for 20 minutes before stopping for 1 minute. When I tried to start it again I got nothing but a...

The clicking sound is the starter motor trying to engage, but does not engage because of low electrical current. Knowing that you started your motor with jump leads this morning indicates that your car's battery needs charging/replacement.
Hope this helps.

I changed the battery and now it clicks under dash when first started then stops about 2 minutes later

It sounds like a relay that's Kaliningrad intermittent contact, probably connected to your cold start mode on your eng. after your eng warms up it goes away.

I hear clicking when I try to start our dodge ram 1500, the lights come on, I recharged the battery 2 days ago.

If the lights go dim when you try to start the car, your battery is poor, and needs replacing. If the lights are bright, and the car is just clicking, the it is likely to be your starter motors solenoid, and needs replacing. Hope that helps.

Clicking sound when trying to start 1987 jeep cherokee.

Probably is the electrical side. Start your vehicle, with the engine running disconnect the positive battery cable. If the engine dies then your alternator is the problem, if engine continues to run the battery is at fault.
