Jack up your car and put on stands remove wheels then look at the brakes, look behind the calipers there will be a bottom and top bolt to undo remove them and gently pull the calipers back off the discs, they can hang on their own hoses they wont brake or leak, gently tap behind the discs with a soft hammer to remove them

Fuel pressure regulator 1995 geo prizm

old posts , geo. day
well the prizm is toyota , corolla in drag.
and has 4AFE or 7AFE engines
that both have fuel rails and FPR on the rail
we always look in the rail first on MPI engine
if not there its in the fuel tank on cars 2000 or newer. (EPA law)
see FPR with its vacuum hose there, bingo FPR

2005 toyota corolla squeaky front brakes when braking at 10mph. changed brakes, rotors, controll arm, pad. What else noise is till there?

anti rattle plates are damaged, remove pads clean rear surface apply thin layer of silicon to pad allowing it to dry then reinstall as per std, this will stop the squeak, or replace anti rattles, silicon is cheaper will last the life of pad, but all new pads will have to be treated the in the same manner .

What is the socket size of the nut holding the front rotor on a 2005 toyota corolla? its not a hex nut but a 12 point socket?

the only things that are holding the rotor on is 1) the brake caliper which i believe has 2 14mm screws and 2) the brake caliper bracket which has 2 17mm screws holding it in place.once you remove these 2 parts, tap on the rotor( where the wheel goes bolted on )with a hammer and it should come off easily.if not spray some penetrant on the studs that hold the tire on, then tap on it some more and it should come off.hope this info helps.take care and good luck, manny

Yes.

And make sure you pay special attention to the proper torque when you put it back on as well as take care when you remove this since the bearing are apt to fall out.

Orange check engine light fpr 2005 toyota corolla

An orange check engine light means there is an electronic failure in the engine control system. It could be anything from a loose fuel cap, to a bad sensor on the engine. It is not an emergency, but you should get it checked out. A red engine light is an emergency and requires you to immediately stop the car. Yellow is a warning.

What socket or drive is required to remove the front brake rotor

The 30mm axle nut does NOT get removed to remove a rotor. The 17mm caliper bolts must be removed to removed the caliper, and the rotor will come right off.

2006 toyota corolla - rotors

The large bolt that you see is the nut that holds the axle shaft to the hub. You do not need to remove it to remove the rotors. You just need to remove the caliper & the caliper bracket. Normally, the rotors come off of the hubs easily, but sometimes, they rust onto the hub. My techs beat and beat and beat until they come off. With large hammers. Note that after they are beaten off, the rotors are no longer viable for re-use.
