It is under the rear seat....lift the carpet and you will see a door that you can unbolt and the pump is in there.

While genevadirt is a knowledgeable festiva enthusiast (and a good friend) he may be wrong on this one. The fuel pump for a carbureted festiva is on the the top rear drivers side of the engine. The fuel pump for a fuel injected festiva is located under the rear seat as genevadirt said. All manual transmission festivas from 89 sre carbureted. All automatic transmission festivas from 89 are fuel injected.

I have a 88 Festiva with automatic transmission and it is fuel injected?

Micanek, there were no automatic festivas sold in the US in 88. What you may have is a festiva with a late 1988 build date that was sold as an 89. Vehicles sold with a build month of 9 or later are sold ad the next model year. In any case if your festiva is an automatic it is fuel injected. The pump is then located I'm the gas tank. Flip and fold the back seat forward, pull back the carpet, remove a cover with 4 bolts, and you will see a panel with 6 or 8 bolts. That is the top of the fuel pump/float sensor assembly.

I change my fuel pump , filter on my 1994 Isuzu pickup truck ,4cylinder 2.3 liters and I have no gas a carburetor. I try using starting fuel to start it and its starts and dies . How can I fix it?

Take the gas line off at carb, and crank the engine over. If gas does not start spurting out from the gas line, then the new pump is not working right. Maybe the pump arm is not situated right against the eccentric gear that makes the pump work. You would need to re-situate the fuel pump.

P1237 code. Changed fuel pump but it still will not start.

I had the same situation. The fuel pump was overheated and caused the fuse to the fuel pump to burn out. You will need to replace the fuel pump assembly. I say the whole assembly because the problem is in the internal connector. Don't forget to change out the fuse!

Changing fuel filter in 2001 pontiac sunfire gt 2.4 litre and changing plugs

You all really need to get more specific. You've just got a situation here, no question.
The fuel filter is integrated into the fuel pump, inside the fuel tank.
Spark plugs are easy.

Constantly burning out fuel pumps

Running low on fuel can put a strain on fuel pumps, but this fuel today also has a bearing on it also,Have you changed brands?A different fuel pump brand might help, also,if you are running a amp for the sound system, this puts a load on the alternator, and low voltage will cause this situation also, the fuel pump is a motor, and if the voltage flows too slow threw the pump motor,it will finaly burn out, check the alternator out put,it should be reading at the battery 13.65 volts to 14.25 volts with the head lights on,and the ac blower on high setting.

1988 f250 no power at fuel pump ,no fuel press. no pump sound when turn on ingsion, fuel gauge works when checking tank selecter switch. I have 3 pumps one in each tank and one on the frame., an a transfer...

Behind the air cleaner box, there are two relays. Over time they corrode and get stuck...change them out and see if that improves the situation.

Where is fuel pump on 1996 960 Volvo?

The fuel pump of 960 is inside the tank attached together with the floater. There is a screen filter attached to the floater which need to be cleaned/changed from time to time. The outside filter is situated under the carriage. To know when the pump about to give problem, there will be a grinding/hissing sound.

My s-10 will not pump any fuel

Check on top of the tank and make sure there are no kinks in the hoses leading off the pump. Also I have run into situations where the new fuel pump simply died due to faulty assembly at the factory.
