2003 dodge durango heater switch hasnt worke on high for a while today stopped working all togethor

It's probably the blower motor resistor. It can overheat and burn out, often melting the connector so the connector cannot be separated. See the linked YouTube video for information on replacing the resistor, and connector if necessary.

I am getting intermittent problems with the blower motor on my 2001 dodge durango. i replaced the blower resistor twice.

You may may need to replace the pigtail plug going to the resistor. They have a tendency of melting a few of the terminals but if you are having repeated resistor failures the blower motor may need replaced as it may be drawing too much amperage causing your resistors to fail.Unplug both the resistor and blower to inspect the plugs for any damaged/melted wiring terminals. Replace as necessary.

Where is the blower fan resistor located on a 2003 dodge durango

Under the dashboard on the passenger side. Next to the blower motor.

There's a wiring harness that plugs into it. Remove the plug, Remove the 2 screws holding the bad one in place and take the part out. Hold the new one in place while screwing the new one in. Reattach the wiring harness and you're done.

Look for a wiring harness that plugs in just to the left of the blower motor.

Remove the harness and you'll see 2 screws holding it in place. Remove the screws and the resistor will fall right out. Hold the new one in place and replace the screws and plug the wiring harness back in and you're done.

2003 Dodge Durango front heater blower problem

The front and rear are two different systems-if the rear works or doesn't -your front still should. Your problem is the blower motor resistor and yes you can do this yourself. Remove the glovebox door and the resistor will be fastened to the heater/ac box with 2 screws and a harness plugged into it. It is a dealer only part, but they are under $30. Hope this helps you. Will probably take about 10mins to change,

My front heating controls....i only have low and med. low fan speeds....the other 2 don't work.....what could be the proplem

It's possible that it could be your blower motor resister but with 2 out of 4 speeds working on your blower motor it is more likely your control switch on the dash.

2003 Dodge Durango A/C Heater Blower does not work?

Sounds like a bad blower motor resistor. That part is what changes the speed of the blower, and your original blower motor may not be bad if it was running on high only. It may have been the resistor.

Heater Fan Only Works On High

This is 100% the Blower Motor Resistor, located adjacent to the Blower Motor. This is a common problem with Dodge. I had to replace my own and several dozen others on Chyrsler's, Dodge's, Plymouth and Jeep.

Make sure you disconnect the Battery and wait for 2-minutes to discharge the Air Bag System. Remove your Passenger Side - Dash -Glove Box for easier access.

Let me know if this helped...
