Your not going to like me much?
the cluch on your car has just about had it, very soon its going to start slipping and there is no way to stop this,,, as the cluch wears out the peddel gets high untill the slipping starts the more you "gun-it" the faster that happens
i did tell you your not going to like me much!

Clutch pedal are adjustable. I don't know the proper proceedure for your particular car tho. Typically if you look underneath you should see where you can adjust them.

If you mean by fails to respond there is no pick up, but the vehicle moves relatively slowly, sounds like the turbo may be toast, or the vacuum hose for the turbo has a leak

When I have to come to a complete stop, I can take my foot off the break and the car won't move, in order to get the car going again I need to step on the gas, and it takes off. There is no easing

It sounds like your brake caliper is hanging up.. take brake calipers off and clean and lube them. you will need a brake tool kit as the cylinders on jetta brake calipers must be rotated as they are pushed back in. DO NOT PUSH BRAKE CYLINDER STRAIGHT IN IT WILL BREAK. make sure to get brake caliper lube. everyone skips this step and it is very important. Also if you drive aggresively through water puddles... that is what started this problem. water sprays at high pressure onto brake caliper and washes grease out leaving you with snagging brakes. Jetta brakes use Allen screws MAKE SURE you use HIGH QUALITY Allen wrenches as these are the absolute worst to get out if they are stripped.!!!! post back results and we will narrow down further if needed.

Loud clicking noise and black smoke...

Seems like an injector and valves. Check if all injectors are giving same pressure, none leaking or damaged, the injector pump working fine and all filter in the pump are clean (yes there are small filters inside under every electro-sensor), get valves gaps checked and adjusted. at this kind of mileage its a must.

THE AIR CONDITIONING IN MY 2000 JETTA VR6 JUST STOPPED WORKING, NO WARNING. I HAD TWO DIFFERANT MECHANICS LOOK AT IT. THEY SAID THAT THE COMPRESSOR IS NOT GETTING ANY VOLTAGE, BUT WHEN THEY JUMP VOLTAGE TO THE COMPRESSOR IT STILL WILL NOT START. THEY SAID THE COMPRESSOR SEEMS TO BE OKAY. ANY SUGGESTIONS

Looking for the fuse box for lights on a VW Jetta

all the fuses on an mk3 vw such as yours, are under the dash on the drivers side. they are kind of a pain to get to, but if you look under the steering wheel, above the gas and brake pedals, there is a little door that opens, the door has a diagram showing which fuses are which. usually the fuses dont go though, have you checked the bulbs?
