Hook up a scan tool and check the codes, there are sensors that will prevent the engine from starting, like the crank angle sensor.

Car wont crank unless pop-started.

I would have that starter tested. It could be intermittently engaging and disengaging. This can happen to the starter drive. I`m not sure why it cuts out after you jump start it,since the alternator takes over after cranking the engine. Unless the starter drive is sticking. My other thoughts are on a fuel pump problem.Or fuel problem period such as an obstruction of gas getting to the engine. Fuel filter maybe or fuel pump relay!

Car died at light, tried to start then clicking noise. car started on a jump. then replaced the battery & altenator. later on driving car again. car dies at light tried to start then clicking noise...

Did anybody bother to actually TEST the charging and starting system or are we just replacing parts? This whole thing COULD be caused by something as simple as a bad battery cable connection.

Brand new battery. altenator is good. car wont start

Dodge has a fuse going to the starter solenoid. If it's blown it won't crank over. If the new fuse blows the starter will need replacement as the solenoid is drawing to much current.

Appreciate some good feedback.

If battery is new, and altenator test good which would mean your battery is getting charged, then check the igntion wire that goes to the solenoid. They can get loose, broken, or dirty connections.
Check your battery cable connections on battery and on starter and ground to make sure they are very clean as well as tight.

New battery, spark plugs, and the altenator is good, but the car doesn't start...I'm thinking that it is the starter motor but I'm not sure....

check for battery power and signal on solenoid wire, may rectify itself with a gentle tap on the starter solenoid, check operation of starter relay and inhibitor switch.

Starting problem

Either the battery is dead, the connections aren't metal to metal contact, or the solenoid/starter is wearing out. Most part stores will test batter, starter, and altenator while in the vehicle.

Sounds like the alternator may be missing an excitation current source.
Check the 'IGN' dash indicator lights when you turn ignition switch on prior to starting motor,
if not one of the below may be problem:-
1) check exiter control wire is connected to alternator D+ terminal (low current wire, +V with Ign on),
2) replace dash 'IGN' indicator lamp.

It just turned off and now wont start It clicks when you try to start it and trys to turnover. HELP!!

Can be bad solenoid on the starter, bad battery or altenator. First thing I would do is check all the cable connections to make sure they are extremely tight and perfect contact. The slightest looseness or space will cause this. Battery, Altenator, and Starter can be tested for free at most part stores.
