I needed to find it for tests. Checked the TFI, coil, pickup stator, all good. No pump either so I thought a relay, ign switch or eec. Thanks for the input everyone.

The electronic engine control is usually located under the hood by the firewall. You will see a bunch of wires going into it. I doubt it is the problem tho. It could either be the ignition coil, or the ignition module. make sure the ignition system is getting power to it. Start by checking the fuses.

It is either under the hood on drivers side under a cover,or behind the glove box area,up in the dash, the ignition module is most likely the cause, most of the time.

O k,check for a fusible link, and if that is fine, ignition switch is the most likely cause if you already checked the other things, you are pretty good,I like that,Let me know what happens, thank you.

Cam positioning sensor on 91 ford tempo 2.3 put pictures on please or ecc relay can't find either of them

There is no "cam" sensor. The ignition gets its signal from the pickup coil located inside the distributor. That signal is sent to the ignition module, bolted to the side of the distributor, then sent to the EEC module where it is processed and then sent back to the ignition module. The ignition module then grounds the coil which produces the spark.... in a nutshell.

The EEC relay is located behind the dash on the drivers side just above the blower motor. I attached a photo that I found.

I cant locate the fuel shut off switch on 91 ford econoline 250 super 5.8L

The inertia switch is on either side of the dash near the doors. Look around the emergency brake pedal or around the heater box.
I would check the fuel pump relay and the ECM relay.

How many o2 sensors are on a 1994 econoline with a 7.5 gas

The 7.5L engine's schematic shows one heated Oxygen Sensor and the EEC-IV codes don't refer to more than one bank or more than one Oxygen Sensor code for the 1994 Econoline.

However, if you think this is wrong, you can look on the exhaust manifolds, left and right, and after the catalytic converter, if so equipped.

Is there a OBD on a 1992 ford econoline,if there is,where is it located?

Your van does not have OBD, but it does have a EEC-IV and MCU connector sit under the hood near the battery, will have a cover over the connector small black cover will read on it (diag. connector).Hope this was very helpful.

Spark knocks when taking off from idling/starts to miss after sitting at idle

The 2 most common causes of spark knock are #1 ignition timing too high, and #2 Low octane fuel. Check your ignition timing, and try a mid grade 89 octane or 91 octane fuel, or you could use an octane booster in your fuel. Good Luck! I hope you find this to be very helpful!
