How do i change a brake light switch on a 2005 nissan maxima

where your brake pedal mounts to the pedal assembly there is an electric switch on the brake pedal arm that has a tang that is pushed in when you apply the brake. Replace said switch. If this is confusing watch this video; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6MdAVgr-y8

I have a 96 nissan maxima it won't go into park

Most likley problem is your brake light switch. go underneath the dash to the brake pedal and depending on wether you have cruise control or not ther will be one or two sensors there. the black sensor should be the brake light switch. disconnect and jump the connector with a paper clip and see if the brake lights comeon and the shifter will move.

1996 nissan maxima brake and battery lights on .... I have a 1996 Nissan Maxima and the battery and brake lights both came on after bleeding the brakes. What could it be?

Check your brake fluid it is probably low. Top it off and you should be fine. The lights are set so that both come on when low on fluid.

1989 Dodge Dynasty brakes lock up

Does it happen for you? Is he driving with one foot only or one foot on the gas and one for the brake? Maybe his shoe is hitting the brake without knowing it if the brake is close to the gas pedal.
