Your vehicle depending on eng size dosen't have a timing belt, only a chain, so you'll probably have a easier time finding a timing chain diagram and needed pullys. You will need to specify engine i.e. 2.8, or 3.1 or 3.4 or 3.8,... info will be located on sticker under hood typically white with black print rectangular or square shaped

Clicking sound near Idler pully

The bearing in the pulley is a single row ball bearing so you can expect a slight side movement in the pulley. Check the drive belt for cracks. Ensure that the belt is running at the top of the pulley and not down in the groove. Lastly if there is no other obvious problems then change the drive belt

My friend just install a serpantine tensioner pully & a belt on my 2000 2.4 grand am... but since then there's an annoying squeaky noise whenever I'm driving... he told me it will stop after a while b

double check the belt length if its too short even a little it can cause a squeak.also make sure there is no oil on any of the pulleys as well make sure the tensioner was installled properly and the pulley is the correct one.this does happen if someone doesn`t take the time to make sure of this and assumes they have been given the correct parts.

1999 suzuki esteem glx 1.8 need diagram and instructions for replacing serpentine belt.

THE DIAGRAM IS ON THE HHOD ON UNDERSIDE OR ACCROSS THE FRONT TOP OF RADIATOR. THEIR IS A BELT TENSONER THAT LOOKS LIKE A ARM COMEING DOWN WITH A PULLY ON IT. PUT A SOCKET ON THE PULLY AND EITHER PUSH FORWAR OR PULL BACK AND IT WILL MOVE TO ALLOW THE NEW BELT TO GO ON. WHEN YOU LET GO IT KEEPS TENSON ON THE BELT.

How do you replace a belt tensioner on a 2000 dodge grand carvan?

before you start you need to make sure that you have the sticker with proper routing of the belt to install the new tensioner and if not make a picture of it this will save a lot of time. next if you haven't already purchaced your part i would recomend any auto part store it will be cheaper than the dealer.most tensioners can be removed with a 3/8 or 1/2 ratchet or breaker bar to fit into the slot on the tensioner. pull one way or the other to release the tension and remove the belt off the pully then you will need a socket or wrench to remove the pully then install new part and belt, check to make sure belt is on all grooves and pully before starting.

V-belt diagram

well i was going to scan and sent the picture here but printer wont work the tensionor is the last end of the belt you want to do. you will have to jack it up and remove the splash gaurd only 3 screw to have excess to the belt. once you are ready run the belt under the harmonic blancer going to your right go on top smog punp and around air conditioner pully go under idler pully and up and over the alternator pully down and around power steering pump and up to tensioner. now get a 156 millimeter sock or wrenc and pull down on tensioner and put belt on it done if you need to auto zone can print you a diagram out for free
