Question about 2004 Chrysler Sebring
I have a 2005 convertible. The key apparently only works the ignition. I just found this out. It sounds like the door lock lever slides when I turn the key in the door key hole but it won't open. Is there a trick.
If you remove the door panel, you will see that the key hole mechanism is actually connected to the latch with a metal rod.
The metal rod is attached with plastic clips.
One of the clips probably broke and the key hole is no longer attached to the latch.
