My break lights don't come on when I press the break pedal. The bulbs, fuse, emergency flashers and turn signals work fine. Other suggestions for what is wrong and how to fix? Thanks

You may have a bad brake pedal switch. When you press the brake pedal, the switch is not activating the lights. If everything else is working, it's most likely your brake pedal switch.

My signal lights and brake lights will not work I need to know if it's a fuse

The fuse is always the first thing to check, then put turn signal on (and ignition on) step out side and see if the front or rear bulbs turn on but don't flash. Turn on emergency flashers on, do they work? If not could be the flasher relay. Brake lights are trigered by a switch under the brake pedal or wired to the brake master cylinder.

1994 Chevy C1500 truck. No rear brake lights

Most likely this is a brake light switch issue. Replace switch.

If your emergency flashers don't work, all flasher bulbs are fine, but flashing too fast, then check and replace Hazard light switch.

1995 GMC Jimmy brake lights not working

Brake lights run through the hazzard switch. There are known problems with this, and the multifunction switch. You may need to buy a new hazzard switch and OR the multifunction switch. Before you do that, check the pigtail that goes into the brake switch up by the fender, make sure it's not shorting out up there. Happened to me!

Brake lights and turn signal don't work???

turn on the emergency flashers(e-flashers)if they work check the bulbs at the same time.if this is good then check the fuses.you may have a problem with the turn signal flasher needing replacing.this is a different flasher than that of the e-flasher,looks the same but a different flasher.usually located on or around the fuse panel under the dash.the brake light problem could be a misadjusted switch or a bad switch.the switch is at the base of the brake pedal and has two wires to it.one wire will have power all the time and the other wire will only have power on it when the brake pedal is pushed.if not then the switch will need replacing.check for broken wires at the switch as these sometimes break causing a problem.

The directional signals in my car stopped working. I don't begin to know what fuse to change...can you please help me Thank you

if the signals stopped working, ( yet they light up, just don't flash) then its not a fuse you need, its a flasher unit, the flasher is a 3 prong, square unit that is located just above the emergency break pedal on the inside face of the lower dash panel. To replace this flasher you should start by removing the 2, 9/32" bolt head retaining screws holding the black access panel just above the break pedal. Lay down on your back and look up inside the dash. You may find the round hazard flasher high just above your head, this is not it. Stick you hand up along the panel in front of the emergency break pedal just behind the trunk release button. Locate with your hand a 2 inch long square relay box and move it to unhook it from it's clip. (If the flasher is the factory flasher it will have a metal clip retaining it under the dash. Your new part will not have this clip.) Route the old flasher and wire down so that it hangs from under the dash. Now you can see it and disconnect it. There are multiple connectors, but only three of them line-up and actually have metal receptors inside the socket. Take note of the removal of the flasher so you are not confused during reinstallation. I think the other connectors are for additional features not needed in the US. Take the part to the parts store or just replace with new one. Relocate the flasher safely up in the dash in relatively the same place and make sure it won't move around. return the black panel to its position above the break pedal and replace the 2, 9/32" retaining screws. Sounds like the flasher unit to me. Normally the emergency flasher and turn signal are separate.

Turn signals dont work bulbs/fuses are good.

check to see if the emergency flashers work if they do its its either a wiring problem, bulb, or socket the bulb fits in. if it does not work than the flasher is the problem. it is located underdash on driver side in the kick panel( to left of the brake pedal) it is a blue or grey sguare relay looking plug. if it is factory flasher it will say flasher with the part # on it. it should also say toyota on it. good luck
