What is wrong, the exhaust have a hole in it? Or is the bolts loose? I need to know exactly what you are trying to do.

It has to do with my exhaust off the manafold is a small pipe, that has now broke, and i am getting a loud noise, and exhaust is escaping out instead of going into the pipe. is this a easy fix?

This small pipe may be the egr tube, follow the pipe and see if it goes to egr or head, if it does then replace the pipe, heres a picture of it. if this is it then it is the egr tube and it costs about 35.00.05be96c.jpg

Exaught manafold leak

You state that car makes a loud noise when driving. Do you notice the sound more when you accelerate? If yes, then it could be either the exhaust manifold gasket or the donut gasket. The donut gasket is where the exhaust pipe connects to the exhaust manifold.

The actuator only opens when maximun set boost has been achieved. the actuator lets exhaust gas bypass the turbo once it has reached its pressure. check for vacuum leaks, cracks in the intake piping.

My oldsmobile 2000 alero was having some problems and now it chugs really bad when i depress the acclerator ive replaced the engine and ran it clean also i have used many cleaners it shuts down sometimes...

Well did you say u replaced the engine? Well if thats the case you may have a clogged cat CONVERTOR. to start out, first we need to remove the bolts from the exhaust manafold to the down pipe.try to prop the pipe slightly away (about an inch) from the manafold.(WE ARE REMOVING THE CONVERTOR FROM THE ENGINE IN A SENSE) start the car (it will be loud, and take a short test drive. If the car no longer chuggs, replace the cat CONVERTOR.good luck

Car missing an pipe from manafold is so hot its red

Sounds like your catalytic converter is clogged and will need to be replaced. That would cause your exhaust to back up, which would cause the missing and the red hot exhaust. I had the same problem years ago. Hope this helps. :)
