When i try to honk the horn on a 2006 honda civic 1.8 L the fuse blows. why would this happen?

The horn may have a short. Try pulling the connector off the horn, put in a fresh fuse, then try to blow the horn. If the fuse blows, the short is in the wiring. If it doesn't blow, you need a new horn. Any more questions, please let us know.

Engine Compartment Fuse box will not open..

Actually, you have two engine compartment fuse boxes. Both have clips that have to be pressed to release the covers.

The following URL will take you to the manual for your Civic Hybrid. Go to the index, under fuses, then page 231 to see the box configurations.

You will need Adobe Reader (free from Adobe) to read the manual, and you can save a copy only in sections, but you can print off any part that you might need.

THEY ARE NOT A MATCHED PAIR BUT THEY SHOULD BE REPALCED AS A PAIR, THAT IS NEVER ONE NEW AND ONE OLD SENSOR. A GOOD QUALITY SENSOR IS AROUND $60, THE MAKER IS NIPPONDENSO, DO NOT SE SO CALLED UNIVERSAL SENSORS.

Canbin filter

Its located behind the glove box. Open the glove box, squeeze the sides and it should come all the way down. The cabin filter is behind there.
