Question about 1990 Ford F150

When i press the gas paddle i dont get that power of a v8 it has some fluttering and when i ease off the paddle it runs fine

Could be a variety of things.....have you done ne recent work to it? It could be a vacuum line not properly routed....could be a leaky accelerator pump...fuel filter.....possible weak fuel pump itself......

low power on a diesel is
1: low compression
2: bad fueling
#2 can take forever to find, if you dont know what engine it is or what fuel system was used.. no country stated, so cant guess

your kickdown lever/cable is starting to sieze. lubracate the kickdown cable, then inspect the kickdown linkage as it could be a broken cable clip.

what you have to do is probably have a tech hook a scanner to it and purge the injectors electronicaly this has happend to another customer of mind

Sounds like you need some new spark plugs and plug wires. They don't work very well at all when Cold, or under moderate to heavy acceleration

I HAD A CUSTOMER WITH THIS ISSUE AND IT WAS A VACUUM LINE IN THE BACKSIDE OF THE ENGINE THAT WAS CRACKED AND WOULD OPEN WITH ENGINE SURGING WHEN PUT IN GEAR
