Question about 2001 Dodge Dakota
With the use of a special socket that fits over the drain plug You can remove it from the bottom of the vehicle... obviously you will need to drain the radiator fluid first with the use of a drain pan to catch the fluid. Install is the reverse procedure

I'm the wife of a frustrated Dakota owner (2001) that has been also trying to locate drain **** for radiator. I was able to locate and took pictures. I don't see a way to post them so will explain. NO NEED to take off cowling. There is an access hole in the bumper below fog light on drivers side. Reach inside that hole to the left, you will see or feel a small hose! Pull one end off and the draincock mysteriously appears! You will need players to turn.

SOURCE: where is drain valve located
I has to be at the bottom because it's meant to drain ALL of the fluid therefore it couldnt be in the middle or the top., so get a flashlight and start looking....it's there!
Lots of luck.
