Its located underneath the drivers side door, about a foot towards the center of the car. depending on the tools you use, and how rusted the bolts are, and your expirience, expect to be working on it about 45 mins to and hour.
remove the inside panel of the door. the arms that attach to the handle will need to be removed , ( they are little plastic clips that usually are very brittle,, so use care in removing them. ) replace the handle with the new one,, Its really pretty easy once you get the inside panel off and an actually see what your doing, good luck
You are going to raise the window all the way up ,pull the door panel off so you can see the back side ot the door handle. You will see then what tools you need. The door panel is held on by some screws and clips which are a big pain in the but ,just becareful and keep up with the ones you take off .
the pole inside the door card is either jammed or has fallen off its connector inside the door. try taking the surrounding off the handle first as you wont have access to the entire door card until the door is open. if you get the surround off around the handle try pull at the connector pole, if the door then opens remove the door card and follow the link through to find where the problem is.
inside the handle there is ONE screw covered by a piece of plastic. remove the plastic and then remove the screw. pull handle out and disconnect it from the door latch bar. replace in reverse
CHECK FOR CORRODED WIRES AND SEE IF POWER GOING TO WINDOW REGULATORS, YOU ARE GOING TO NEED TO TAKE OFF THE DOOR TRIM TO SEE THEM, OTHER THAN THAT IT WILL BE ABOUT REPLACING THE REGULATORS.
The door panel is held on by plastic clips.. first check behind the door handle and see if there are bolts or screws there. then start on the bottom and pry the panel loose starting on bottom of panel and then going up the sides with a flat blade screw driver. once you have gotten sides and bottom loose pickup on the door panel to release it from the window ledge this is how the top is held in place.. holler if you need more info .. Jerry
there is a pin in the door handle might have broke off there are two 10 mm nuts that will release the handle but you have to take the door panels off and remove it any local junk yard should have it or can order it for you
