Charcoal cannister is bad and so is purge. Either disconnect and plug system, or buy new cannister.

Engine hard to start after sitting

Sounds like it could be a carburator issue. Fuel could be leaking out of the fuel bowl or back to the fuel tank. You can tell this if you have the breather off and *before trying to start the engine* operate the accelerator arm on the carburator as you look down into the carburator. If the fuel hasn't leaked back you should see it shoot some fuel into the carburator. Also could be a fuel pump problem where the pump lets the fuel leak back and there isn't fuel there to pump up to start the engine when it's cold. Also the 360 wasn't released until 1971 so it's pretty safe to say it's not a 1967 or not a 360.

Car idles high when parked

open the boot from the air filter and MAP SENSOR a black box with small electric connector on, spay small jet of carburator cleaner on sensor( small resistor/ termistor / platinum filament) to clean the dust or deposit dirt. plug back and test. if not fix = open the boot intake hose to engine and where is accelaration cable or electronic controler and inspect the metal disk (air intake ajustment) for deposits and if close ok, if are black deposits = spray carburator cleaner and use the finger to remuve the edge of gums created = more opening = more RPM on idle.

Heavy black smoke from b14 engine what is the possible cause ?

Keep in mind the fuel strategy of the fuel injector is what the call PWM(pulse width modulated) so low fuel pressure can cause rich black smoke.coolant temperature sensor that is reading under temperature can cause black smoke and so can the MAF (mass air flow sensor) use carburator cleaner or brake cleaner and clean MAF outside of the vehicle and see if that helps

1990 jeep yj 4.2 straight 6 carburated will turn over but will not start

First try shooting some starting fluid in intake manifold, and if fires up but still won't keep running, my guess next would be your looking and checking out your fuel pump. You can check that out my removing a line and see if fuel is pumping out of the out put of fuel pump. Because it it carburated its pretty easy to trouble shoot. It's going to be in most cases spark plugs , fuel pump.

1987 dodge ram 50 sport bogging at 55mph

The carburator needs to be retuned under a load to correct the problem. Take the truck back to the place were the carburator was worked on, and have them to check the carburator out for correct adjustments. Hope this will help you !!
