Question about 2000 Audi A6

1 Answer

I bought a 2000 audi a6 2.7t from the auction and the oil pan was hit and also the control module under the seat was soaked. I changed the oil pan and the control module (after drying the carpet out). Right now the windows dont work, the locks dont work, the lights in the car dont work (but the car does start). Any ideas of what it can be? Do i have to take the car to the dealer to get in reprogramed maybe(cause theres a new module in)?

How u doing i wn kn how i could put transmition oil on audi 2000 a6 please

hi,
assuming your car is an auto- transmission.
all directions i am giving you are from the point of view of sitting in the drivers seat, if you look underneath there should be a single bung on the lower- most point of the oil pan, this is for draining and checking the level. to fill oil, there is a short pipe to the left side of the transmission, with a bend pointing up. there is a cap on this which is removed for filling the oil. the correct level is when the car is running in park, the bung removed. when there is correct oil levelyou will see the over flow , comming from the bung. to drain the oil, there is a small tube up in the bung- hole which can be removed with an allen key.

Abs & engine oil droping sign appears on meter

I just replaced ABS control module on VW Passat 2001 , with the same simptoms and it took care of it.
Try to tap on ABS module with something and see if the lights are going off and on.
Very common problem on VAG vehicles.(VAG - Volkswagen Audi Group).

The only access way for oil pan replacing is from the bottom side of the engine (car). This operation needs to remove the bottom engine plastic cover.

There's a TSB on that problem. It involves broken wires in the A and B pillar from the central convenience module to the rest of the car. Ask your VW dealership or what not for a more specific answer.

2000 audi a4 low erratic humming noise

Could be a transmission issue. Did you hit any objects while driving ? Have you performed a visual inspection under your vehicle ? Have you checked to see if you have any loose vacuum hoses ? Any codes in your engine control module or transmission control module ?
