1997 chevy suburban front blower issue.... doesn't work unless a gust of wind or I hit a bump. wondering what part I need for it to work.

it may be either a bad connection at the resistor block or the blower motor. check this out. if going over a bump starts the motor it may be a bad blower motor that needs replacing.

Rear blower

If it does not work on any speed then I would expect a bad blower motor. With the key on and the blower speed set to high try tapping on it. If it starts to work it needs to be replaced. If it still will not work than you will need to see if there is power and ground at the blower motor.

check for power and ground to rear blower motor. if no power check for blown fuse. if no ground check for bad blower motor resistor for rear unit.

Need a trouble shooting diagram for 1994 Chevy suburban AC unit circuit.

You mean a wiring diagram? Blower problem or Compressor doesn't come on? Is it full of freon? Does the compressor come on if you jump the low pressure switch?

Heater Blower won't work

Find the blower motor on the passenger side just above where the passengers feet would be. You may need to remove a panel (fairly easy). You will see a round metal housing about 4" in diameter. Turn on the ignition key and blower motor. Then tap the housing with a small hammer or a screwdriver. If the blower comes on.....replace the motor. If not, find the wires leading to that motor, undo the connector and check for power and ground in them.(You did check fuses first...right?)

you have a short to power which will cause it to stay on constantly check your blower motor resistor pack to ensure that it is working and check the wires going to the blower to make sure you have a power and a ground

Front heater fan control switch gets hot and melts. Why?

this is an easy one, the blower motor is drawing to much current, this happens as they wear out, replace the blower motor aNd all will be well in chevy land.
