Replacing a thermostat in a 2000 volvo s80 t6

Look forthe tube going from the radiator to the engine and follov it. By the engine it wil be connected to the tray, in wich is located thermostat. Usually it is not bigerthan an apple. Its cap is hold with 3 or 2 screws. Probably you will need spanner on 10 or 12. Take off the cap and remember how the old thermostat is loceted and in the same position put in the new one.

2002 Jetta 1.8T blew 40A cooling fan fuse - overheated, destroyed 4 way cooling hose connector - replaced all- now it still runs very hot, inside temp reads 190 (but temp is much higher), cooling fans run...

Then replace the thermostat, because if on lower hose not hot and on upper hose scalding hot = antifreeze flow blocked by the thermostat wich remains closed!!!

Which way does the spring on the thermostat face when replacing the thermostat in

The spring end of the thermostat should always go towards the engine, and it should not be towards the hose.

Over heating have to run heater to keep it cool, there is no leaking and the radiator is full.

either u have a bad thermostat wich is stuck closed or you have air in the cooling system. Look for bleeder valves.small nut with a hole in the top, start the car let it warm up, crack the valve open when u get antifreeze coming out of the hole tighten it back up. see if this helps. if not try replacing the thermostat. hope this helps.

Replacing thermostat and location

You're going to lose some coolant, so have a bucket or other container ready. Follow the upper radiator hose to the point where it's connected to the engine. The hose is clamped to a metal housing which is bolted to the engine. Remove the bolts (not the hose) and lift the housing to expose the thermostat (may require a little prying with a screwdriver or similar tool). Note how the old thermostat is fitted (which end is up), lift it out of the engine, and then remove all traces of gasket from the housing and the engine. Install the new thermostat and gasket, replace the bolts, add coolant as necessary, and you're done.

Where is the termostat located for 92 toyota camry v6?

its at the end of the coolant inlet pipe lower LH side of the engine. This pipe is below the alternator running from the lower radiator hose to the thermostat housing on the engine. Replace the O-ring at the end of the pipe if you are replacing the thermostat. There are 3 bolts holding the thermostat housing to the engine block. Hopefully this helps!! please rate...thanks!!

Thermostat

It is located at the engine end of the upper radiator hose. Take the thermostat housing off. When replacing the thermostat make sure the spring goes toward the engine.
