Take it to a real shop...JL is the last place you should be seeking any mechanical advise!!

some jeeps and chrysler products of that particular year, it common for a sudden engine flare for a few seconds...however, if this was never a concern before, then i need to ask if you had your cooling system worked on there? flushed? etc...if so, it sounds like there might a be a faulty engine coolant temperature long as you keep the old coolant in the engine, it develeops a scaly build up on the engine radiator core etc and coolant temp sensor..if you flushed it, it cleaned off the temp sensor allowing it to read as if its cold all the time and allowing to tell the PCM to dump the fuel to the engine until it warms up...try replacing that...

Alright I'm some what ignorant when it comes to cars. I have a 99 chevy blazer 4wd power everything. My heat works fine and dandy. My AC on the other is not cold. It's warm. I also get some weird...

Sounds like you have a dying blower motor. That explains the whining in the dash. But if it's not cooling, bring it back to jiffy lube and ask why. have them show you that the compresser is operating, and that the lines are cold. If this is the case, then it can be a problem inside the dash, blend doors and all.Doubt if jiffy lube can help you there. You'll need a real mechanic. The Jiffy folks should have ethically discussed this with you when they took your cash.At my shop, if it doesn't work when we're done,we discuss it with you. Probably why I'm small and broke, and Jiffy lube is huge and rich! Good luck.

Revving heaps in first to get moving then also revs heaps for little speed say 60kmh in 93 jeep automatic cherokee

transmission slipping!!! May possibly just be low on fluid, could be a bad torque converter, or the transmission itself!!!
Good luck

97' Jeep Cherokee revving problem...

There are several reasons this can happen. First check all vacuum lines to make sure they are connected and unbroken. Second, have a code test done to see if anything has registered in the computer. There are also individual component tests you can do but what I suggested is a good place to begin.

Sensors went bad, at 60 k miles, is this covered in warranty

you need to take the vehicle to a real mechanic. Jiffy lube employes are not mechanics. Change your oil at jiffy lube and get mechanical work done at a reputable auto dealer or mechanic shop.

Engine revving

try cleaning the petrol cap. it breaths round the key hole. i boiled mine. sometimes if there is not enough air in the tank. pure fule goes into the carb. and makes the car race. take fule cap and boil it in water. you can use steradent in cold water if you prefer. muck gets stuck in them.

Jiffy Lube is notorious for taking things apart and not putting them back like their supposed to do. I USED to use them....try looking at the air filter, cause they always take it out to show you. I would bet its an airflow problem....please rate me...thanks
