CRANK SHAFT SENSOR FOR A 2.4 ENGINE NEXT TO OIL FILTER.FOR THE 3.1 - 3.4 ENGINES CRANK SHAFT SENSOR LOCATED BEHIND CRANKSHAFT PULLEY.

It depends on which crank sensor you are wanting to replace. There are two of them. The 24X sensor is located behind the front crankshaft pully and the crank pully must be removed to change it. The 7X sensor is located in the engine block on the right bank (firewall side) near the rear of the engine. This one simply pulls out of the block after disconnecting the electrical connector and removing the single bolt that holds it.
