First, do one side at a time, as they are a mirror image of eachother.
Go to www.youtube.com and look for a video close to yours. Most rear brakes are similar. This will give you an idea. Keep in mind, if you have no experience, don't bite off more than you can do.

When I start car taillights come on but no brake lights or third light in window

Well your parking lights should not come on when you start the car unless you have turned on light switch. Most cars you must step on the brake to start, so the brake lights would be on. Your problem maybe a burnt out bulb on rear window lite.

TEST: have someone watch the rest and push on brakes see what lights. If 2 tail lite then its blub.
If non light its the fuse in box underdash.
Now take foot off brake and turn on lights and emergency flashers walk around check all lights then step on brake and see if brakes light up.

Replace bulbs or fuses as needed.

Hope this helps Mike

I have a 83 Bronco 351w I am doing the brakes and the passenger side rotor needs to be replaced can someone walk me through this thanks

Personally I would replace both rotors to prevent a future brake imbalance.

* chock rear wheels, raise front of vehicle and place on stands.

* remove wheels, remove brake calliper and bracket assemblies.

* remove bearing hubs from axles, via removal of bearing adjustment nut

*remove hub seals, clean and inspect bearings, repack with HT bearing grease.

* the brake rotor bolts to the rear of the hub, you will have to remove and replace rotor to hubs, make sure all bolts are thread locked with loctite 263 and tensioned to spec.

* pack hub with grease, install seals, fitt hub assembly and adjust wheel bearing preload, install new split pins.

* fitt brake calliper and brackets, fit new brake pads,

* fitt wheels lower vehicle, test brake for function

Hope this helps..

Bench bleeding master cylinder

I have never bench bleed a master cylinder in
50 years of doing brake work

As you walk the part to the vehicle, all the fluid will
run out anyway,not necessary

You obviously have other items on the way to the
rear,check valves,proportioning valve,abs system ,
whatever.

Start at the master & walk the tubing until you find the problem

Removing rear disc rotors i have brakes removed

I everything is out of the way and the rotor is ready to look like it should fall off, then it will, just follow these easy steps. You will need to make sure the keeper washers are removed from the lugstuds, and then you will be needing an at least two pound sledge.Swiftly hit the rotor on the face, not the braking contact surface area, and walk it around, then it will simply fall off, I hope I could help. Thanks, and rate me accordingly!!

When brake is applied, the rear light on the panel come on.

You might wanna have your rear brakes checked along with the rear brake calipers or cylinders, as well as the rear drums or discs, depending on weather your car has rear drum brakes or rear discs brakes. Some cars come equipped with brake sensors that let you know when theres a problem. It would also be a good idea to check you brake fluid level.
