Your vehicle has a timing chain, not a belt. There is no regular maintenance interval on the chain. If it starts to clatter at idle, it may be time to replace, otherwise, do not be concerned

This truck has no engine that uses a timing belt, it uses a timing chain. A chain has no replacement interval, it usually lasts the life of the truck.

did you have it pro replaced? If so, you should take it back to them. How long is your warranty? If you personally replaced, you need to check the service manual. Here is the owner manual

1999 sonoma has no spark is there a fuse or a relay that has gone bad

try replacing your coil pack first. if that doesnt work then try replacing your ignition module. but no spark all the time leads me to believe its a coil pack gone bad.

The heater still won't work after I changed the thermostat on my

Get a female garden hose adapter from the local hardware store. Disconnect the heater hose from behind the fan pulley and attach the hose connection. Disconnect the other heater hose behind the alternator, aim it towards the ground and flush water through the heater core. This worked on my truck.
