I have a 2003 Ford F-150 4.2L V6 that has an error flashing on the passenger side seat belt light. It flashes 2 times then 7 times and it repeats for a total of 4 consecutive sequences.

If you are talking about the SRS light, the LFC ( light Flash Code ) 27 is :

Passenger Air Bag Deactivation ( PAD ) warning lamp shorted to ground

Have you done, or had any work done in the dash area as of late ?

The PAD light cannot illuminate, so the truck is reporting the code via the SRS LFC.

Start with the PAD lamp, and work you way backwards on the wiring harness, looking for a wire that has the insulation damaged, and making contact with the dash frame.
Could be right at the PAD lamp holder also.

This will take some time, but should be an easy fix.

Seat belt light flashes after seat belt is on

The new 2013 Bentley Mulsanne Mulliner has the same thing.I know on the Bat Mobile it means the ejector seat is not fully charged.

The only generic answer I can conclude with information you provide is ;

1) The passenger seat of a newer general motors car

2) The seatbelt light does not light up when the seat is not occupied

3) The passenger side Airbag (SRS) has been turned OFF

4) While occupied , the seatbelt light on the insrument cluster lights steady

5) when the seatbelt is active (buckled with a passenger) the light flashes.

6) anybody?

My airbag flashes 4 times then 7 times why?

The flashing light is giving you trouble codes for the srs system.
Code 47 is for a problem with the seat belt sensor on the passenger side.
You may have to disconnect the battery and check all of the circuits on the truck to find the power drain, provided the battery does not have a dead cell in it.

2003 ford escape seat belt warnign light

Probably no need to see an expensive mechanic. My seat belt warning light came on a few days ago when there were four people in the car and the rear seat belts weren't fastened (I thought that was why it lit up). However, the light came on and stayed on when I was the only person in the car. Logically, it suggested a bad connection somewhere, so I checked the connector under the passenger seat and made sure it was properly fastened together. I then sprayed a small amount of WD40 into the female clasps of both front seat belt connectors, clipped and unclipped the belts a few times and the light is now fine. Try it - it worked for my 2003 Escape.

How to disable seatbelt alarm on 2003 F-150?

There is a procedure in the owners manual on page 110.

BeltMinder activation and deactivation procedure
1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN (or ON) position. (DO NOT START THE ENGINE.)
2. Wait until the safety belt warning light turns off. (Approximately 1–2 minutes.)
• Steps 3–5 must be completed within 60 seconds or the procedure will have to be repeated.
3. Buckle then unbuckle the safety belt three times, ending with the safety belt unbuckled. This can be done before or during BeltMinder warning activation.
4. Turn on the parklamps/headlamps, turn off the parklamps/headlamps.
5. Buckle then unbuckle the safety belt three times, ending with the safety belt unbuckled
• After step 5 the safety belt warning light will be turned on for three seconds.
6. Within seven seconds of the safety belt warning light turning off, buckle then unbuckle the safety belt.
• This will disable BeltMinder if it is currently enabled, or enable BeltMinder if it is currently disabled.
7. Confirmation of disabling BeltMinder is provided by the safety belt warning light flashing four times per second for three seconds.
8. Confirmation of enabling BeltMinder is provided by:
• The safety belt warning light flashing four times per second for three seconds.
• Followed by three seconds with the safety belt warning light off.
• Once again, the safety belt warning light will flash four times per second for three seconds.
9. After receiving confirmation, the deactivation/activation procedure is complete.

If you did not get an owners manual with your truck ( purchased used ), you can download one from Ford :

Audible seatbelt warning keeps on sounding on my 2005 f150 ford truck

From the F-150 Forums, since I just bought one and this worked!

This is straight from my 2009 f150 owners guide

Preperation
1. the parking brake is set
2. truck in park
3. ignition switch is in off position
4. both seat belts are unbuckled

Disable Belt-Minder
1. turn the ignition switch to the on position, DO NOT START THE ENGINE.
2. wait until the safety belt warning light turns off. (approximately 1 minute).
* step 3 must be completed within 50 secs after the safety belt warning light turns off.
3. buckle then unbuckle the seat belt nine times, ending in the seat belt unbuckled.
* after step 3 the restraint warning light, (airbag light) will turn on for three (3) seconds.
4. within approximately seven (7) seconds of the light turning off, buckle then unbuckle the safety belt.
* the restraint system warning light will flash four, (4) times per second for 3 seconds for confirmation

you can do this for the passenger side also!!!

*NOTE
in step 3. after three times buckling and unbuckling the restraint warning light lit up in my truck. SO I WENT TO THE NEXT STEP, (STEP 4). waited 3 seconds and i buckled and unbuckled.

in the buckle /unbuckle procedure do it some what slowly and watch for the light. it may not take 9 times.

My 2003 ford expo has a constant airbag light lit after starting the veh. I have a new sensor, can't figure out were 2put it.. Please help.

first, you need to read the Lamp Fault Code, LFC from the flashing light. Here's how:

Lamp Fault Codes
When the restraints control module (RCM) detects a system fault, it will cause the air bag indicator to flash a coded sequence: a lamp fault code (LFC). The code is two digits. The first digit is flashed with a 0.5 second interval between pulses. There is a 2 second pause before the second digit is flashed, which also has a 0.5 second interval between pulses. There is a 5 second pause between each display of an LFC.
Each LFC is flashed five times after which the air bag indictor will remain lit for the remainder of the key-on cycle. If there are multiple LFCs, each LFC will flash in order of priority.
-------------------------------------------------------
The fault could be in the air bag circuits, the canopy circuits, the pretensioner circuit on the seat belts, etc.
Report back with code.

here's some of system.

SECTION 501-20B: Supplemental Restraint System 2003 Expedition/Navigator Workshop Manual
DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION Air Bag and Safety Belt Pretensioner Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) The air bag supplemental restraint system (SRS) is designed to provide increased collision protection for front seat and second row outboard occupants in addition to that provided by the three-point safety belt system. Safety belt use is necessary to obtain the best occupant protection and to receive the full advantage of the SRS.
This vehicle line contains dual stage deployment (advanced restraint system) driver and front passenger air bag modules. These vehicles can also be equipped with optional safety canopies that deploy from the A-pillar to the C-pillar upon a side impact or if a rollover condition is detected. If equipped with safety canopies, a unique restraints control module (RCM) is used.

If a concern is detected, the air bag control module will communicate by flashing the warning indicator. A diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is logged by the air bag control module in a nonvolatile memory. For additional information, refer to Diagnosis and Testing in this section.

04 f350 airbag light flashes 7 times then 3 times

Are you sure it is not 4 then 7? There is a code 47 but no code 74. If it is 47 then that would be the passenger side seat belt pretensioner.Has this vehicle been in an accident? This is a deployable device so I would be kinda careful with it. I wouldn't recommend doing much more than making sure that a wire isn't disconnected or broken. It is in the buckle section. It is designed to pull belt tighter during a collision.
