Question about 2006 Chrysler Pacifica

My 2001 Ford F-150 Will not start.

It will turn over but will not crank. I have tryed spraying starting fluid in the throtle body to see if it was the fuel pump but it didint make a difference. I have checked all the fueses and they are good. According to a repair manual I have It ask to check for 12V at the crank shaft position sensor and one of the coils to the spark plugs and both do not have any volts.
What do you think?

Remove a sparkplug wire install a screw driver in it set it close to a ground (metal) spin over engine if it doesnt spark then it sounds like a bad ignition control module, which is bolted to side of distrubutor or some models have on top of driverside wheel well near master cylinder, try that good luck.

My 2001 tundra turns over and everything works but wont start has half tank gas

If it has known good spark and fuel pressure try spraying carb cleaner in the throttle body while cranking engine to see if it will crank.

Where do you put starting fluid in 1989 ford f150

You would spray it into the throttle body by removing the rubber hose between the body and the air cleaner box.
Open the throttle plate before you spray.

Ford expedition 2007 engine crank but wont start and engine light blinking 8 times

You will need to do some testing here to find out why truck will not start,
this may be a bad fuel pump but lets check, a quick test is to spray starting fluid into throttle body. you will need to remove the intake boot to get to throttle body to spray, you will also need to open throttle plate with finger . with plate open spray fluid for 5 sec, then release the plate and put boot back on and try to start truck. if this is a fuel problem then truck should start and run for a few seconds and then die out. if it does this then i would say the fuel pump is bad,

A quicker test is to have someone banging on the bottom of the tank while someone to trying to start it, and if it starts then pump is bad, this is not a definite way but a quick way, try this first and then starting fluid. good day.

Ever since i ran my isusu rodeo out of gas, it will crank but it does not want to crank. I've add additives to clean the injectors, i've changed the EGR sensor, with very little help. cld u give...

maybe it didnt run out of gas but just shut down, if it did run out it may have sucked up dirt from the botoom of the tank causing the fuelpump to lock up, what you can try to see if the pump starts again is to spray starting fluid into throtle body and cranking the engine, the engine should start and will die out after fluid is burnt but may stay running if power stays to pump and it frees up, you may have to try this a few times, if you spray and it doesnt start then you may have a diffrent problem. make sure to have someone hold pedal to floor and spray for 3sec, then release gas pedal connect hose to throtlebody and try to start. good day.

I have a 1984 f150 with a 302 it turns over but it cranks and cranks then starts. Almost to the point the batt. is dead or you spray starting fluid in carb after running for a while you go to start it...

sounds like you need to bump the timming just a hair. loosen the distributor bolt and turn the whole shaft to the left if that doesnt work go the other way

Engine turns over but shuts down right away as if its getting no fuel

can you hear the electric fuel pump run for 5 seconds when you turn the key to ON? You should as it primes the system (pressurizes) to start. If not you have a bad pump (in fuel tank) or fuel pump relay. If you spray starting fluid int eh throtle body, does it start for a few seconds? If yes, replace the pump.

I have a 2001 Ford F150. It turns over but will not crank. Tried to jump it off but will not start. Gages and lights work inside. What does that sound like to you? Someone mentioned a fuel pump module....

That may be the problem, you would have to do one thing to make sure and that spray starting fluid into the throtle and if it starts for a few seconds then i would say its the fuelpump module, a fuelpump module is a unit with the fuelpump and preasure sensor and sending unit as one i will show you a picture, this unit is located inside the gas tank the tank will need to be dropped in orderto install the pump module, in goes in on top of the tank after tank is removed,johnjohn2_15.jpg

Have spark,no fire, sprayed starter fluid into throtle body but does not start

Turn key forward listen for the fuel pump to pressurize if you don't here anything then your fuel pump needs replaced and it's in the tank.

nedd to put scanner on and see if you have any rpm. If not replace crank sensor. If so better get some good fuel. Try by spraying some flammable spray product into throtle body. should run a little.
