Are the discs scored/damaged? If so they may need to be replaced too.

2006 Honda CRV makes screeching sound while turning corners

built into the brake pads is a small bit of metal that when the pads get to low to be safe , runs on the rotor and produces the squeal applying the brakes stops the vibration so the noise drops off

While I am driving when I am pressing the gas pedal it makes a scraping noise but not all the time. If I hit the brakes it will stop. I have a 2001 Nissan Sentra GXE

Sounds like it might be the low brake pad indicator. A small flap of metal which is made to scrape the rotor when the brake pads reach a certain low level. When brackes are applied the noise typically quiets.
Check for worn front brake pads.

Brakes screech when driving and braking. is it the brake pads? or rotors? and how much are the parts and estimate on how much to get fixed

There is a small metal clip on the pad that is made to come into contact with the rotor. Just to make that screeching noise, to tell you it's time to change the pads...before they damage your rotors.

You need to replace the brake pads. They have wear indicator when the pad is worn it will make that sound. They have a metal piece that scrapes the brake disks letting you know its time to replace them. Follow the link to find out more.

OCCASIONAL Metallic scraping noise - New ceramic brake pads.

You could be right with the wheel bearings. But first take the wheel off and check that nothing is scraping the rotor. Look all the way around the rotor. A suggestion will be that the brake pads have worn enough that the brake pad wear indicator is starting to scrape. Pry them back a little.

Brakes

What makes you think it's brakes?

Two things, in my experience, makes brakes squeal. If you can apply brakes but they don't squeal until you are nearly stopped, that's benign. The sleeves and backing of the brake pads need some special high temperature brake grease. But you can live with it. But if you get a scraping, screeching sound whenever brakes are applied and possibly to a lesser extent even when they are not applied, then the brake wear feelers are touching the brake disk. You need to get brake pads or shoes replaced soon or cause damage.
