Question about Mazda MAZDA3

2 Answers

Hi emmisionwiz,i mean i felt that its gona take me too much time to cover the price of rav 4 tobe profitable in my taxi business,by final stage i mean that i am not sure yet to buy or to consider only rav 4 as our final choice,i wonder if we can consider any second option that wouldbe very helpful.just keeping in mind vehicle should support easy or simple repair and maintenance as we guys here basically benefit us a lot by getting repairs done from outside garage's like at home garage of a good mechanic who doesnt charge us too much.as per consumer reports.org as i have a online subscription to view videos and all that, its very helpful if u want to look u can use my password so just letme know, howabout mazda 3 or any other car u think whose price is a little affordable and big point is to save on gas as rav 4 i believe is only gona give a city mileage of 17 mpg which is very close to these expensive crownvic so every day i have to spend a lot on gas as it may run 200-350 kms ain 24 hrs. so please lets consider another option,if not i think we will just buy a use rav 4 under 50000 clicls.bye

hi,i just recently had changed fuel pump on my 2000 crownvic taxi having 343000 clicks on it .before also i had lots of repairs like to remove catalytic convertors etc.my question is as my mechanic said that i should change fuel filter on my cab every four months or so,can u provide me a list of things like that which i should do through out the year in order to save money on bulky repairs.i just know some of them like changing a variety of filters, thermostat in winter, always have good air in tyres etc.and there are certain products tobe bought like some special additives or a simple diagnostic tool like car md (from car md.com).so basically as a fleet owner please increase my core knowledge to help me save money and time, thanks

What price to charge per km for Mazda 1200cc sedan petrol?

there is no set charge , but you have to take into the costs of services , fuel, oil tyres, registration , insurance car hire fees ( cost of a fine if not a hire vehicle ), loss of a vehicle in the case of an accident while being used as a hire vehicle as the insurance will not cover it , your time, vehicle depreciation ( wearing out and needing replacement)
you can charge what you like but a good point would be around 60% of the taxi fee for the same trip

I have a 2007 rav 4 the engine light will flash and the rav feels rough the engine or trans won't shift then it stops and works fine

The flashing check engine light means there is a serious problem with the performance of the engine. You need to get the computer scanned for trouble codes next.

I think it would be a good car for a taxi. They get really good gas mileage. They aren't real difficult to work on and maintain. They also have a good warranty that comes with it, but you shouldn't have too many problems when buying a new car.

Head bolts

I'm assuming you meant a 1.8L 4V, if so the torgue settings for the head bolts are
stage 1: 30 ft-lbs
stage 2: 44 ft-lbs
stage 3: Angle-tighten a further 90-degrees
stage 4: Angle-tighten a further 90-degrees

Also I recommend you buy new cylinder head bolts from the vdub dealer, they say you don't have to with a gas engine but only with diesel engines you should, from my past experience it felt like the old bolts were going to snap off to be safe buy new ones. If you have never done this before "stage1" this means each bolt gets this one time, then after you have done each bolt at this torgue then you do the bolts again (stage 2) with this torgue ect. Remmeber to always cris cross your bolting and work from one side to the other the same time for each stage. Vdubs 4-ever !

Toyota rav 4

I work for Toyota, and I will be glad to provide you with the actual answer:

The RAV/4 product is available in two models, a 4WD model and a 2WD model.
The difference between the two is on the 2WD model, there is no driveshaft going under the vehicle to the rear wheels, and no rear differential. There is no "RAV/2"; both models are called RAV/4's.

There is a lot of common confusuion about how the 4WD works. It is full time 4WD. In other words, it is always in 4WD. It does not "kick in/kick out/automatically engage", or anything like that. It is 4WD all of the time. But, when I say "4WD", that is sometimes mistaken for "all wheel drive", and, in this case, the RAV/4 is not "AWD". What this means is that if you raise the RAV/4 up on a lift, and put it in gear, 1 rear and the other side front tires will spin. True "all wheel drive" would have ALL 4 wheels spinning. This is not the case with the Rav/4. What the RAV does have, making up for not having "True AWD" on the 5 speed model, however, is a switch that locks the center differential in the transfer case, which, when engaged, applies a method of "locking" the 4WD system for maximum traction, but it is still not AWD. The automatic version doe not have this ability.
The last "true AWD" vehicle for purchase was a 1970's International Scout.
If you are considering purchasing a RAV/4, that is a very good investement. They hold their value quite well, and are virtually bulletproof; I do not make any "money" off my RAV/4 customers...
Just "gas station work". Very nice cars. I hope that this helps you, please feel free to comment back with any otherr questions...Glad to be of assistance.
