When closing my electric window on drivers door there is a loud scratching noise. can the window regulator be lubricated or is it something else ?

Your car's windows lay in the window tracks. These tracks keep the windows in place, and guide them as the power window regulator powers the windows up and down. Because the windows are tightly fit into the window tracks, they will come into close contact with any debris that gets stuck in the tracks. If the window tracks are dirty, the debris will cause friction against the window, which makes a large amount of noise. On the other hand, if the window tracks dry out, the windows can get stuck in them, resulting in an unfortunate noise when the regulator forces the window to move in the track. Sounds like the noise your windshield wipers make when running across a dry windshield, and you'll understand why a dry or dirty window track is so noisy.
1.Blow out tracks with a compressor air gun. may be able to have a service station do it for a few bucks if you don't have a compressor.
2. lube tracks with a DRY silicone lube.
Hope this helps

Dry spray silicone in the tracks.

Having problem wih power window

This sounds like the window is binding in the track. so as you try to get the window up the protect breaker in the motor has tripped and cools resets again and again until up. lower window part way with a light oil 3 in 1 drip down the window track on front and rear the roll up if goes easy repeat until it is easy all the way then applied vasoline to track. if this does not help then the cable window regulator is bad.

Why does my 2006 toyota sienna power sliding door not close properly

Could be resistance in one of the tracks, or the motor.
If the motor hits a resistance the door opens in case the resistance is a human.

Saturn LS2 1998. Front passenger window won't close.

Does the window move at all? If so, then it may have come off the track inside the door. Otherwise the window motor may be going bad. You will need to remove the door panel to investigate.
