Hi
The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank. Easy to change if you can operate a jack & have 15mm socket/ratchet, & needle nose plyers
The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank, so it has to be pumped out, unbolted and removed from the vehicle.
It is suggested that you flush the tank to remove any contaminants before replacing the pump, and remounting the fuel tank. You can use a cleaning solvent to accomplish this, but need to make sure the tank is clean and free of the solvent before installing the new pump, and remounting the tank.
However follow the steps bellow:-
Step 1:
Relieve the fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump relay from the power distribution center. Start the engine and allow it to run until it stalls. Try to start it again and let it run until it stalls. Repeat this procedure until it no longer will start. Turn the ignition off.
Step 2:
Disconnect the negative battery cable and raise the vehicle. Support the fuel tank with a transmission jack. Locate the fuel filter on the top of your Chrysler Town & Country fuel tank.
Step 3:
Remove the fuel line from the front of the tank and then the ground strap. Next, remove the inboard side of the fuel tank straps and front T-strap fastener. Lower the tank about 6 inches.
Step 4:
Detach the fuel lines from the fuel pump module and then remove the fuel filter. Put the new filter in its place. Tighten the fuel filter bolts to 40 inch pounds.
Step 5:
Reconnect the fuel lines to the fuel pump module and reposition the tank. Replace the front T strap fastener and tighten it to 250 inch pounds. Put the inboard fuel tank straps back and tighten them to 40 foot pounds.
Step 6:
Put on the ground strap and connect the fuel line in the front of the tank. Start the engine of your Town & Country and check for leaks.
Tips & Warnings
Before you disconnect the fuel lines be sure you let the pressure out of the fuel system. Take care not to allow any fuel to spray on your skin, face or eyes.
Make sure you wipe up any fuel that may have spilled while replacing the fuel filter.

Changing the tail light cover for 2003 town and country minivan

There really is no way to change just the cover. Open the hatch. There are two quarter sized round plastic clips that have to be gently pulled out. Then you can remove the tail light.

1996 Chrysler Town & Country won't start

If you have fire, then it's probably a fuel problem. Turn the key to the on position, you should hear a 'whirring' sound from the gas tank, which is the fuel pump. This sound will only last a few seconds , but should indicate that the fuel pump is working. If no sound, check the fuel pump fuse, fuel pump relay, and the fuel pump itself . Good luck.

Fuel Pump

it is not necessary to drop the tank. In the boot, on the left, you can see a cover towards the back seat. The carpet cover need to be removed first. Unscrew the four nuts and you can see the all the hoses connected. You need the special tool to unscrew the black plastic cap. The pump is attached to the floater. Ensure that before fixing to check the plastic head at the vacuum return head is not crack and replacement is needed for new rubber seal on tightening the black plastic cap. After all done, check on possible fumes leakage.
