Under hood, passenger side, bolted to firewall, some are behind a plastic cover and lower part of the firewall.

My 2005 GMC C7500 is not blowing heat from the heater fan. Lots of fan power but no heat. We already replaced the in dash switch assembly and that did not fix. Could I possibly have heater core iss

Sounds like a bad heater core. Does the engine temp gauge come up to normal? if it does the locate the hoses that go to the heater and feel them with your hands. If one is hot and the other is cold or barely warm you have heater core issues.

Fan motor on heater has stopped when I switch between the settings ( defrost to upper & lower heat) I hear the gates moving but the fan won't come on ( no heat ) it's very cold please any sugestions...

first check the heater fuse...then you want to unplug the fan motor lead and run it straight to the battery...if it works then you will need to check the resistor assembly..it is located on the heater housing right near the fan..it controls the different speeds for the fan and usually has 4-6 wires coming off it. If these don't fix the problem...try looking in the fuse/relay box both in the cab and under hood to see if you have a relay for the heater fan...as it may be defective

The low/med/high fan switch on my 1985 Toyota pickup is no longer working, How do I replace the heater fan blower switch?

Hi,
Don't go there just yet ! Most heater motor speed problems relate to the heater resistor ! It's located in the ducting close to the motor assy and usually has 4/5 wires on to it and a 2 screw fixing. This componant must be cooled (hence air duct location) and is solely responsible for motor speeds ! You can check motor fan by test lamp/meter ! Good Luck

1997 Chevy S10 pickup Fan switch for heater runs on high only.

replace the blower motor resistor located on the heater box were the blower motor is located the wiring to the blower may go to it. This is very easy to locate if you buy the part first.

99 Olds intrigue heater fan now only has 1 speed(high). Would this be the fan or the heater control panel?

I just did this fix to mine. It is the blower motor resistor that is located between the fan motor and the firewall. You will have to remove the trim panel, under the dash. Then you will be able to remove the fan motor. The fan plugs directly into the resistor. You can get the part at checker for about $32.

Heater only runs on high

Most likely caused by faulty blower fan speed control resistor module.
This unit is usually located in the heater air ducting under the dash ( in the blower fan airflow ) - unplug and remove fixing screws to replace.

How to fix heater wont work in 1994 buick lesabre

It may be a fan resistor if the fan is not working or only working on one speed, the fan ressitor is about $40.00 and is usually located under the glove box on the heater box, look for the plug that goes to the resistor unscrew the hold down bolts unplug the old switch and install the new one.

97 gmc suburban heater fan only works on hi

hello , it is located under right side of instrument panel , on heater housing . an extra clue is the wire connector going to it has a dark blue, a light blue , a tan and a yellow wire on its connector , you will only see the outside of the resistor as the actual resistors ago inside the heater case .and also this is 1997 gmc suburban , even tho listed under 1993 gmc suburban , same instructions . hope ya fix yer problem .
