How to repace tenison pully

Buy a basic tool kit and return it when you're finished.

If you can remove the bolt remnant without damaging the parent metal, you should be able to reinstall the tensioner. Get a new bolt directly from Ford so that you are sure you have the correct length, thread pitch, and hardness. If you are not very experienced in removing broken bolts, you may want to seek some help with this.

Do you not have a serpintine belt? if so your tenison pully is your adjustment,

If you have a serpintine belt you have a tenison pully. sorry do diagram but should be one under your hood somewhere, good luck to you.

That is one job I dont enjoy but has to be done, put a ratchat to the tenisoner and release the belt, make sure you draw the diagrame of how the belt is routed before you take it off.

make sure you are going around all the pullys correctly.

there is a tenisoner that you can put a wrench on and turn it, not sure witch way but it will turn the tenisioner so that it will loosen the belt

There should be a decal under the hood or on the radiator shroud showing the routing of the belt and naming the components. The tensioner is the pulley that is on a spring that can be moved with a breaker bar or belt adjusting tool. The other components should not be moveable.

what year is it if its newer model the tenisoner pully will do this for you....the belt ruoteing should be printed somewhere on the core support

it could need repacing or tack welding its ether power sterring or altanator pully.
